EU to sign PCA with Viet Nam
(VGP – 15/05/2012) - Foreign Ministers of 27 European Union member countries agreed on the signing of the EU-Viet Nam Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA).
The decision was passed at their meeting in Brussels on May 14.
Earlier in October 2010, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and EU President Jose Barroso initialed the PCA.
PCA, including eight chapters and 65 articles, covers fundamental principles of the two nations’ relationship and clarify the framework of comprehensive cooperation in trade and investment, to peace and international security.
PCA is expected to bring the Viet Nam-EU relations to a new height.
